I am getting married in a few months. Do I need to change my name on my drivers license or passport or both?
It would be advisable to change your name on both. The department of motor vehicles in each state requires you change your name on your drivers license.
With regards to your passport, you should exchange your old passport for a new one with your new name. Remember, the name on your airline ticket and all other travel documents must match your government issued ID and or passport!!!
Do I need a passport in general to travel?
You need a passport for travel outside of the United States, including Canada, Mexico, and the Carribbean.
How far in advance do I need to book by travel arrangements?
One should book as far in advance as possible to purchase the least expensive airfare, best airline shedules and best advance seat assignments. With regards to cruises, the further the advance booking, the better the cabin availability.
Does Globetrotter accept installment payments for tours and cruises?
Yes we do, but eligibility is based on the type of trip and cost.
Is travel insurance required?
No, but strongly recommended for cruises, tours and other land packages that may or may not include airfare.

What happens when I book in advance a cruise and the price goes down? Do I get the lower rate?
Yes you do. Most cruise lines honor the lower rate. Globetrotter always monitors pricing for this very reason.
